Freshly stocked trout or "stockers" are plentiful and easy to catch...but they leave a lot to be desired in the table fare department. In this episode, we talk through a few ways to handle and cook them so that they can fulfill their destiny as the "put and take" our wildlife agency intends them for. Introduce your friends or kids to fishing on stocked trout, then cook some for them...it's a great way to get people hooked on fishing!
